The Library of Congress website offers a multitude of historical images, many with no known restrictions on use. This image is derived from an 1876 L. M. Melander stereograph titled Summer night tea party. This stereoscopic groups and portraits series was published when the studio was located at 88 N. Clark Street, Chicago, five years after the great fire 0f 1871.
