Smooth chanterelle?
This seems like a stalked polypore because no gills are evident. If correct, this is possibly albatrellus confluens, a relative of the more abundant sheep polypore (but don't risk you life on that assignment). Salabat rightly points out faint shadows of gills, making these more likely the smooth chantarelle (cantharellus lateritius). (I shouldn't have overlooked the details in this image.) There is a path I regularly walk at the Audubon sanctuary in Oaks, PA, USA. My gaze is normally on the path, to watch my footing, so much of the undergrowth went unnoticed for quite a while. Only after seeing a bloom of cinnabar red chanterelles did I take a closer look. Several species were visible in only a 60 meter stretch through the forest and included polypores (shelf like fungi), cup-like fungi, puffballs, coral fungi and several other species. There was also a slime mold and a parasitic flowering plant which has no chlorophyll.
