Morning shadows, morning reflections.
Background
I recently discovered Marcel Minnaert's book Light and color in the outdoors, which provides a layperson accessible description of countless optical phenomena (using simple trigonometry). It motivated me to revisit this image, focusing on the developing the shadows. I hadn't previously appreciated the differing reflections from window glass and plate glass.
Technical trivia
After adjustments in lightroom (distortion, EV gradients, straightening) the Restyle preset "Strong BW contrasts" was applied, separating the cars and pedestrian from the shadows.
