Bizzy Kid Quilt, Luigi Pillow, and friends

i modified the pattern a bit because my son insisted on a minky backing, and i have experienced the annoyance that it can be to piece a backing with that before (stretchy, ugly thick seams...), so i wanted it to be able to be backed with only the 60" wide minky.
The pattern offers 48x60 or 60x80" sizes, so i did used the 48"wide, but made it 80" long and then added a 3" border to all 3 sides to make it closer to twin sized for my 6 year old son's bed.
Fabrics were quite scrappy, i lost count around 25 prints, so i didn't quite follow the "directions" on the pattern there either... I used lots of my son's favorites: superheroes, pezzy prints, space invaders, pac man, geekly chic, and some blenders from my stash.
I wanted to quilt this with a loose meandering fmq, but the minky did not agree, so i ripped out what i started and settled for some pathetic straight lines near the ditch. Not the best quilting, but it was a finish and i loathe straight line quilting.
My son loves his quilt, and that makes a momma proud!
