Oía is a small, picturesque village on the Greek island of Santorini.
Santorini is a circular archipelago of volcanic islands, part of the Cyclades group, in the southern Aegean Sea about 200 km from the mainland of Greece. The communities on Santorini are all that is left following an enormous volcanic explosion which destroyed all but the outer rim of the original, complete island. Today it is one of Europe's most spectacular and popular tourist spots.
