Scared Heart
The misspelling of the title is intentional. This is Sacred Heart Catholic Church on the Spokane Reservation. My father and many other relatives are buried here. When I was a kid, I remember reading the name and I said to my dad, "Why is that church called scared heart? Is it scary?" Everyone laughed hysterically when they heard me and we called that church 'SCARED Heart' forevermore.
