N2SBL was a Mercedes 709D / Alexander (Belfast) B29F purchased new by Shuttle Buses of Kilwinning in May 1996. It passed to Stagecoach Western in 1997 as part of a deal which included Shuttle Buses service work. Shuttle Buses retained the number plate N2SBL forcing the Merc to become N446TOS. It was captured in Irvine heading for the Cross when brand-new.
