WSV 323 Leyland Leopard South West Coaches, 15/1/13

Here is the front of WSV323 (formerly LVS421V), a very old and very ill sounding Leyland Leopard PSU5C/4R chassis with a newer 90s Plaxton Paramount 3200 MkIII body. This bus started out as a Duple body but was replaced in 1992 due to a collision with a lorry. This bus is the oldest in the South West Coaches fleet dating from 1980 - 33 years old! and I doubt it'll survive a lot longer- it was sounding awful when I was riding in it home today! Tuesday 15th January 2013. New to Ebdon, Sidcup. Seen here on school service 4109 to Mere, in Mere (Bramley Hill). This is my school sixth form bus and we get a good variety of old buses, some good and some not! I don't think suspension was invented when this bus was built!!!

It's interesting how the "South West Coaches" sticker above the front windscreen has been removed- possibly foreshadowing a future removal/ scrapping?

Here is what it looked like originally: www.flickr.com/photos/dave58282/6218067467/
