Pronto Shutter Base

I don't want to go beyond here, because I don't have any reference at this time. But I think the two bronze screws at the bottom right and left of the picture hold this in. There may be another in the top, under all those levers. And the screw on the right has a spring anchored on it. Who knows what that is attached to.

 

At this point, there is no need for further disassembly on my part, because this is all working as it should. But if you have a stuck shutter, some Ronsonal dropped in the slots where the small chrome actuators poke through, and on the bladed themselves may help to unstick things. But don't flood it, as this backs up to the light baffle box, and you may be forever waiting for the resultant overflow to evaporate. And you run the risk of loosening the glue on the leather covering. Just a drop or two at a time will do, and sometimes it will take multiple applications to truly clear all the gunk out.

 

Note: After further review, I decided to go ahead and remove the front plate and shutter base. More to follow.
