As far as old towns go, this is one neat little place, but mainly in the aesthetic. It is the county seat though, so the prerequisite buildings and offices are present. Greene county is mainly agrarian, except for the lakes areas south of town, and the western mountain ridges.

 

It was around 20°F most of the time that day. I needed to make up for missing my annual New Years Day photo safari, so I loaded a Nikkormat FT2 with Fuji Acros 100, and and headed out with a good pair of gloves. The metering on the camera was a bit shaky, so I started doing the exposure calculations myself after the first few frames.
