Nest Check
My Mum looks through a long lens to catch a glimpse of the eaglet shown in the previous photograph. Wedge-tailed eagles in this territory often build their nests quite low to the ground, probably because the trees available are mostly smallish Wandoos less than 10m tall. This provides a good opportunity for the contents of such nests to be viewed from the ground while standing on a slope above the nest.
