The last thing we did in St Moritz, before heading down to the railway station, was to indulge in glorious banana splits, with Aperol spritz, at the restaurant with the red tablecloths. It was the first time that I'd had this extravagance since a cafe in the Austrian town of Hard at the southern end of Lake Constance, in 2011.
It was a lovely way of relaxing for a while and rethinking the whole, if short, St Moritz experience ... letting it all sink in. Overnighting here at the Schweizerhof was definitely the right decision! A great place to spend some cool summer days.
