Waiting for lunch, after walking from Kanazawa Castle across the Asanogawa Bridge. We had picked this restaurant beforehand, because of reviews. No booking, but only a 20-minute wait for a table for seven people. Excellent and recommended!
Our group navigates with online maps, Hyperdia for train travel, and pocket wifi, so that we can all keep together. Anyone following us would assume that we know exactly where we are going ... mostly we don't - but we always get there :-) If the technology fails I get to practise my Japanese, which is always much fun!
