Yogen Fruz canasta

I tried some at my local Guatemalan mall in Escuintla. I got the "canasta" (basket) which was the yogurt surrounded by frozen fruit such as a peach slice, strawberry, half a fig, kiwi slice, blackberry, piece of pineapple, watermelon ball and cantelope ball. It was topped with a cherry.

 

I chose pineaplle to blend into the yogurt. It really didn't have strong pineapple flavor, but the taste was clean with a slight tang. The texture was very smooth, so I guess the yogurt squeezer works.

 

There is hellish heat right now, so this was a nice break. There's nothing to dislike about a company that has a decent enough ingredient list and tries to keep things healthy.

 

They sell cones, cups (with the option of adding frozen fruit toppings) and various smoothie drinks made with the yogurt and/or frozen fruit.

 

While I wouldn't make a special trip, if nothing more interesting wasn't nearby I'd get it again
