Futurism
The image entitled Futurism was based the on the art movement of the same name. Characteristics of this period of art were most commonly the capture of movement and the stages of it, for example 'Nude Descending The Stairs', metallic colours and anti-technology messages were also present.
To capture this I had the model putting metallic glasses on to the face whilst using multiple exposure and zoom burst to freeze the steps of the process. The blocked glasses and rigid neck collar represent how technology restricts us and blocks us physically and mentally. The high contrast monochrome styling is also a reference to Futurism.
