NewYork.com offered a free sunset cruise to its instagram followers for an instameet last 10.04.14. We were on board the boat of the North River Lobster Company and took off from Pier 81 just before sunset. The boat traveled along the Hudson River towards Lady Liberty and back. It was already night time when we got back. We were blessed with a cloudless autumn day after the rain that morning. Manhattan looked beautiful at twilight as well as in the early evening with its lights all aglow. There was a nearly full moon over the clear sky to add to the beauty of the trip.
