Central Park-Bethesda Terrace, 07.11.14
After taking some pics of Manhattanhenge on 07.11.14, I went to Central Park to listen to the free concert by the New York Philharmonic. The free concert is done every summer at different parks in all boroughs and in Manhattan, the NY Phil usually plays two days in Central Park. I was lucky to have been there and enjoy the free concert that night as the next scheduled date was cancelled due to the rainy weather. These are pics I took after the concert. I tried to take some decent shots of the Bethesda Terrace at night but there was a guy already there who wouldn't budge from his post. Oh well, you can see him in one of my photos. :-) It was also the night before the supermoon and I tried to get a pic or two of the large moon. But it was the reflection of the lights of the midtown buildings on The Lake that was kind of mersmerizing. I could have stayed there all night just looking at my view.
