Body Sag
Very evident in this image is the bodywork problems that these two short length buses exhibited after a few months use.
This is the first of the two and whilst the second was a better job, it also caused problems that led to withdrawal.
It was thought only one of the two entered service with Network Buses (the other sold to an independent in a white livery).
This and the next image suggest otherwise - or were there three of these experimental vehicles in the first place (and is my memory that bad - I think it was two - I'm not sure I would have had the patience and skill to make three!)
Also evident in this view on both the short Wright in the depot yard and on a nearby Leyland Lynx are the briefly used blue blinds that were trialled before a return to black with white or yellow text.
