Wing Study

This 'wing study' is chalk, acrylic and imitation gold leaf. This piece was primarily about the process of layers and transparency to form a ghostly quality. I wanted a timeless quality that gives one a sense of the ethereal. This contrasts against my other drawings and paintings of wings which are much more representational.
