Along lost lines - China Yunnan - Gejiu / Kotchiu / 个旧
In this charming little town hidden in the backwaters of the province Yunnan once the 600 mm gauge line run along a lake on its way to a now abandoned station but still in place and in use for other purpose, at least by the time this picture was taken. The alignment along the lake was transformed into a boulevard but not without pointing to the past. On the right side a different kind of pavement exactly on 600 mm size to depict the lost line.
