Quick Flash
Lightning scared the heck out of me as a kid but as I grew older it became a source of fascination. A desire to capture one of the most powerful events in this world was an original driving force behind taking up photography.
Over the last few summers I've waited night after night for a storm to roll through so I could get those long exposures clicking away to capture its splendor. This year things are a bit different. Adding a 10 stop ND to my kit allows me to do the same thing in broad daylight. The question still remained, would a flash of lightning be bright enough to show up through the nearly black glass? Well this shot proves the answer to be a resounding YES!!!
