Resembling a war zone, the bike lane (on the left) through Edmonton's refinery row leaves something to be desired. Black smoke and choking gases fill the air as a giant flare stack burns off unwanted petroleum products at midnight. To add insult to injury the formerly-maintained bike lane is now used to store snow and debris.
