We begin our India adventure in Delhi. No better place to start than with the amazing buildings of Sir Edwin Lutyens. The India Gate commemorated the 70,000 Indian soldiers that died in World War I. The gate is on axis with the Rashtrapati Bhavan that can just be seen over the hill which was also designed by Lutyens.
