Tapioca is a northeastern Brazilian delight made of manioc powder cooked in a previously heated pan. Using a spoon you spread the powder from the center to the edge in a spiral movement totally covering the pan's bottom, heating up both sides. The final result is a pancake like cake which is eaten like a sandwich or using a round dish with sweet or savoury fillings.
