An Isolated Station.

Whitrope Sidings, 2 August 2025. Whitrope Heritage Centre (just off the B6399 between Hawick & Newcastleton) occupies a small section of track reinstated on the trackbed of the former Waverley Route.

The volunteers have created a small station, although there was never one here. The location had a signalbox, crossover and a short siding, mainly used to recess banking engines, though it did serve as a station of sorts. A workers halt, used to drop off and pick up supplies, railway workers and railway families from the nearby cottages, though it didn't appear in the timetable.

Here 142020 is being operated up and down the 800 metres of re-laid track.
