Passing at Caution.
6C51, DRS’ 1247 Sellafield - Heysham passes Foxfield’s up distant signal at Lady Hall on 9 May 2023, top and tailed by 68001 and 68016. The signal was passed at caution due to the pair being right up the back of a preceding passenger train.
The ridge of higher peaks beyond and above the semaphore signal are the Furness (or Coniston) Fells and include Caw on the extreme left of the frame with the dark mass on the right hand side of the range being The Old Man of Coniston.
