Following the derailment of 6C00 - GBRf’s 1715 Clitheroe – Carlisle Yard cement train - in Carlisle on 19 October 2022, recovery of the final three wagons began at Petteril Bridge Junction on 12 November.
This is a close look at the lower section of Ainscough’s Terex TC2 800-1 800 te crane, the base of the rear mast and lattice boom, the counterweights and superstructure. There’s a good view of the cable drum and complex pulley system as well as the lifting beam and its suspended load, the recovered 102te glw JPA cement tank No. VTG 12455.
