This view of 23 June 2010 shows the fells (labelled in previous pictures) in a very different mood. On the right - beyond the Mite viaduct - the bulk of Sca Fell broods under heavy cloud at the head of the Eskdale valley , while to the left of Whin Fell, Kirk Fell and Great Gable are completely obscured at the head of Wasdale.
This Ramsden Dock – Sellafield train is crossing the River Mite at Ravenglass with 57003 leading and 57011 on the rear.
The flasks - which are returning empty, having previously been used to transport vitrified HAW (Highly Active Waste) to Japan - are supported on eight axle KXA flatrols built by WH Davis of Shirebrook.
