On 6 October 2016 6X23, the 0625 Sellafield – Barrow Marine Terminal, top and tailed by 37609 and 37218 stands on the Barrow Docks Branch straddling the Cavendish Dock Road level crossing. 37609 is being detached from the head of the train in order to run forward into a spur. This will then allow the tail locomotive (37218) to propel the flask train into the terminal.
