60056 waits patiently for a problem with the points to be resolved at Dalston Oil depot on 1 October 2015. The main line curves away to the left with the depot on the right, where a rake of six bogie tanks have just been delivered by 60056. The six tanks standing on the up main are the empties that were drawn from the depot and have the tail lamp attached ready for the journey back to Carlisle. Normally they would have been propelled over a crossover onto the down main for 60056 to run round, but passenger trains are due, so the loco will have to couple up, drag them back, then propel them onto the siding between the two sets of tanks. A "lock in" will then ensue to allow both up and down passenger trains to pass. Each and every movement seemed to take ages as the points continued to bedevil the proceedings.
