Glass beads on a faux leather mat.

I've replaced the sections of bamboo skewer with pale blue plexiglas rods and I was fortunate enough to locate translucent (nearly white) O rings for each end to keep the beads in place so they don't fly off accidentally when a rod is lifted out.
