Carolyn ~ 20/100 strangers
This lovely stranger is Carolyn! I met Carolyn today while she was walking with her dog Diesel (and walking with a man who was walking a cute beagle, which you can see in the distance in the photo that is top-right). I was riding my bike on the rail trail with a friend (which explains the tire in the photo on the bottom-left).
I ride about 10 miles on my lunch hour, which will take me thru three cities, Augusta, Farmingdale, and Hallowell. I met Carolyn in Hallowell. I ride at a reasonable fast speed, unless I come across a big dog (like Diesel) or a group of young riders with training wheels. Carolyn was gracious enough to stop and hold Diesel until I passed, but I decided to stop as well, and ask Carolyn if she would participate in my 100 stranger project. She agreed, and as you can see we had fun with it. However, the man (with the beagle) who was walking with Carolyn wanted nothing to do with the project, and by the time we were finished, he was long gone and out of sight!
This was the hardest photo shoot I have done to date for my 100 stranger project...the lighting was terrible, and it was windy, which caused unpredictable shadows from the clouds. But I took a few photos and I think that you can see that Carolyn is a beautiful lady. (View Large)
Thank you Carolyn for participating in my project, and I hope I didn't scare your friend too badly...I know I can look rather scary after riding five or six miles, with my helmet hair and all.
This picture is #20 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at www.100Strangers.com
