I fear there is as much mutual understanding between indigenous and non-indigenous people's as there is a general understanding of the message on this young woman's t-shirt. I admit I don't know what it says. I only know that what is going on in North Dakota is a foreshadowing of something much more serious if we don't start building a consensus.
