Odisha is scarecly known to most people as the state of rich agriculture. It is more famous for it's floods and droughts which occur once in a while. However, the entire state, barring a few small regions, is rich with fertile soil and apart from betel leaf and cashew, food grains like rice, wheat, jowar and pulses are also grown.
