Pie-Plate Abstract
A couple of days ago, a good friend and neighbor gave us a delicious berry pie. It came in a lightweight aluminum “one use” pie-plate. After we had eaten the pie, I washed the pie-plate in our dishwasher. When it was dry, I set it on our kitchen counter, upside-down, under some halogen ceiling spotlights that shine down on that countertop. In the light of those spotlights, I noticed that the metal of the pie-plate was shining with several brightly colored, iridescent areas. With the color saturation bumped up just a bit in editing, this is how it looked!
