Expecting the Unexpected
If the Ghrist are anything, they're unconventional. They take mundane things and make them exciting, learning experiences. We weren't surprised then, when they offered us homemade almond-shortbread cookies, seaweed / ginger martinis, Japanese rambutan (those are the things that look like alien eyeballs -- and they're incredibly tasty!!!), or a rich assortment of sushi. Their house became our own personal Lothlorien.
