Silfra Fissure/Þingvellir National Park

I have dreamed of this since 2013 - snorkelling between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates where they meet and drift apart about 2cm per year - the underwater visibility in Silfra is over 100 meters. No sea life (it is too cold) but the colours are the most vivid blue and green - the most surreal & beautiful snorkelling experience!
