Peaches and Cream
Peaches and Cream as a title references both: the ideal complexion and puddings at the same time! Doll-like perfection, sugary cakes, floral designs and gossamer tablecloths drape over earthy scenes and wild skies. An ugly, oversized foot is planted firmly on the ground as a mischievous effigy to pragmatism. The more comfortable composition however, lies with the mud and earth area where the ground is clearly defined. The happiness of the tea scene has a surface only sprinkling of sweet civilisation: the furniture has no body and the floor is a pink gauzy void!
