Prayer Tree - Winterset
On a walk through Haw Park Woods we came upon this tree, not dissimilar to the Cloutie tree we saw at Samye Ling. It was fetooned with faded ribbons, each with either a name or a message. Some were for wishes like 'ice skating lessons' or 'to be a footballer' but I felt this encapsulated the concept.
