365 Year 17 Photo 354 (6714) Paris
Another Hard Rock Cafe tee shift memories photo today. It’s my Paris tee shirt. And few things compare to you first time in Paris. The full quotation by Victor Hugo on my photo today is “He who contemplates the depths of Paris is seized with vertigo. Nothing is more fantastic. Nothing is more tragic. Nothing is more sublime." I’ve been to Paris twice. Both times it rained. Both times it did not matter..I was in Paris. That was all that matters. I went to graveyards. Saw Jim Morrisons grave. Edith Piafs. I got to see the Mona Lisa. I studied French in high school and loved it but did not retain anything except for one phrase. Je suis tombé dans la rue. I fell down in the street. And I did trip and cut my hand. But I was so happy. I walked into a cafe and excitedly said Je suis tombé dans la rue. And they brought me some ice and towels for my hand. I could use my one sentence. Luckily I could say Merci beaucoup afterwards also. Oh Victor Hugo. You are so correct. Also Marks garden has gotten out of hand it seems in the photo
