The Palace of Culture and Science - Warsaw Poland
The Palace of Culture and Science was just across the street from our hotel. The building is hated by most Poles. It was a "gift" to Poland by Communist Russia during the Communist occupation of Poland. One of our guide books told a good story about the building. It said people in Warsaw ask where is the best place to live in Warsaw. The answer is Inside the Palace of Science and Culture because that way you can't see it.
I personally found it to be an intersting building but can understand why its so hated.
