Sometimes you sit near someone in a class and get to know them like the back of your hand. Sometimes, though, your relationship is a bit more distant. For one reason or another, all that you know of them is derived from overheard smalltalk and minute morsels of conversation. Just enough to make you think they have a lot more going on under the hood than meets the eye. Sometimes you never act on that curiosity. Sometimes it drives you mad.

This roll was the first time I really tried doing portraits. I think I like it.
