Aquest 12 d'agost de 2026 (ahir, considerant quan pujo aquesta foto a Flickr) hem pogut disfrutar del espectacle irrepetible i inigualable d'un eclipsi total de sol.
Foto feta amb una Nikon Z6ii i un objectiu catadrioptic sovietic LZOS MTO-500A f8,5 / 550mm, fabricat el 1973 (i filtre solar Baader).
Nosaltres ho hem pogut contemplar des de uns camps d'oliveres sota el Tossal dels Moreus, a Corbera d'Ebre (Terra Alta); prop de l'ermita de la Santa Madrona.
L'eclipsi ha començat cap a les 7 i mitja de la tarda i la fase de totalitat, just a les 8:29. L'eclipsi s'ha acabat abans d'hora amb la posta de sol, poc després de les 9 de la nit.
Aquí teniu unes poques imatges que he processat just en arribar a casa 24h després, abans no pugui fer-ho més pausadament amb les altres més endavant.
Ha estat el primer eclipsi total de sol a Catalunya des del 1905... i no n'hi haurà cap altre fins al 2180!!!

On August 12, 2026 (yesterday, considering when I’m uploading this photo to Flickr), we were able to enjoy the unique and unparalleled spectacle of a total solar eclipse.
Photo taken with a Nikon Z6 II and a Soviet LZOS MTO-500A f8,5 / 550mm catadioptric lens manufactured in 1973 (and a Baader solar filter).
We watched it from some olive groves above Corbera d'Ebre (Terra Alta), near the Santa Madrona hermitage.
The eclipse began around 7:30 PM, with the totality phase occurring right at 8:29 PM. For us (and everybody else in Catalonia), the eclipse ended prematurely due to the sunset, shortly after 9:00 PM.
Here are a few images I processed immediately upon returning home 24 hours later, before I have the chance to work on the others more leisurely later on.
It was the first total solar eclipse in Catalonia since 1905... and there won't be another one until 2180!!!
