Haystack Rock... a Kiwanda // Haystack Rock, the Kiwanda one!

IN ENGLISH BELOW THE LINE

===================================================

Nobody, even less the author, had seen these pictures until now. Until I've developed them in the dark room.

This one was a little harder to track down than I thought. I already knew the photos were from the Seattle-Oregon area, and I've heard of Haystack Rock (mostly here in Flickr). Indeed, it seemed so but not quite. Well, it turns out that there are TWO almost identical Haystack Rocks, and both in Oregon. One in Cannon Beach, the most famous, but another (THIS) in Cape Kiwanda. The key is the elephant-shaped rock to the right of the rock.

This film shows a set of 6x6 images in b&w. It came in a pack with other identical rolls, also shoot on the north-western US. So I think they where from the same photographer. There's even this child in a couple of images.

They call "found film" at those images in film or plates that are find undeveloped inside old cameras or in other places, like boxes or old houses.

This film is part of a large pack I bought in the internet from somebody in Brooklyn, NY.

This one was a 120 format unknown emulsion, only marked as "Film Pan 200 ASA", developed with HC110.
