La ciutat de Tromso és la més septentrional del món gràcies a la corrent del Golf, que fa que la temperatura a inicis de febrer sigui d'entre 4 i 8 sota zero, rès de l'altre món. Això a l'alçada del nord del tot de Siberia o Alaska! Però només que aneu uns 20 km cap al interior, la temperatura cau en picat cap a 20 sota zero, o més.
Per cert, la muntanya en questió s'anomena Tromsdaltinden (1238 m.).
