The Wrecking Crew
One problem with long-running heroes is whom to pit against them. given enough time and enough writers, any rogue's gallery will begin to seem a little... decayed. Like, Iron Man's villains are generally people in technological suits of armor, just like him... except for the Asian stereotypes. Or giant space-dragons. Or who knows what. Likewise, Thor's opponents can't always be titans out of Norse myth. Sometimes they are bank robbers. Or alien horses. Or rock men from Jupiter. Or these guys.
Dirk Garthwaite became The Wrecker when Loki enchanted his crowbar to be a weapon of POWER (you know, since Thor has a hammer, a crowbar is perfectly logical). Garthwaite, now The Wrecker, shared some of his power with a few other dudes - Dr. Eliot Franklin got an enchanted wrecking ball and became Thunderball, Henry Camp gained the ability to headbutt people really hard and became Bulldozer, and Brian Philip Clausky got really big hands and super-strength, and became Piledriver.
Surely these are worthy enemies of a god. Whoop-dee-doo.
