Diachrysia balluca Geyer, 1832 - Green-patched Looper - Hodges#8897 (thanks to Kyhl Austin for providing/confirming the species determination on bugguide). Found at Mud Lake Bog SNA in central Wisconsin. Waupaca County, Wisconsin, USA.

 

Found on forest understory vegetation in mixed forest.
