1981 Datsun Bluebird 1.6GL (910), Thurrock 2001

Amazing, I put the registrations into DVLA expecting to find out when they were scrapped, but remarkably this one is not only still around but taxed too. Date of liability coincides pretty much with the when it was first registered, suggesting it's been taxed without a break, and a cheeky attempt at entering its details onto eBay shows it to have zero previous owners i.e. it's still with its original owners.
Can't easily make out the dealer sticker, I'd imagine one of the big London garages (could probably work it out if I had a listing from then, looks like a couple of initials at the start). E & T Motors Ltd I think.
Seen here in April 2001 at the M25 Thurrock Services in Essex.
Nothing else particularly old/unusual in the background, good showing of Vauxhalls plus Vectra and Mondeo which must both have been very new then. The Nova G826BEJ was a 1.2 Merit which came off the road in 2004, and the white Cavalier H782JOO a diesel L which got to 2005.
