1968 Nissan Cedric Custom Six (130) Billing JAE 1997
Interesting car which used to be seen at JAE shows of old. DVLA says no tax/SORN since 2000, though I think/hope the owner still has it - not sure if he got in trouble for the amount of cars he had!
This one was imported from Japan, possibly something to do with somebody who imported motorbikes.
Some interesting cars also visible, with a 280C on the left, my blue 180B in the background and a super-rare Sunny 1000 estate with its tailgate up. Datman got that one off an exporter, then Eddie Rattley had it on the road for a while and still owns it, gradually accumulating parts for an eventual restoration.
A very small number of this generation Cedric was officially imported to the UK, sold as 2000 here and probably more popular as an estate than saloon. Indeed, the only official UK models I've seen have all been estates.
