Peeking birdie hello
This card was made with the idea of creating a scene where the little bird image from Newton's Nook Design Winged Wishes was peeking out from behind a cloud. The cloud image and the sentiment are from the same set. I used Memento inks for this card. I coloured the bird with Bic Mark It markers and bent up his wings so it looks like he is flying. The clouds were embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and given a little sparkle with a Sakura gel pen. The sentiment was first stamped as is and then I extended the lines across the bottom with selective inking of the same stamp. I just inked 2 hearts from another stamp in this set and nestled it into the sentiment. The brads are from Making Memories. I used the red polka dot washi tape and a white gel pen for stitching to finish off the card. The sketch is from www.newtonsnookblog.com/.
